The most searched rental areas on Gharsetu are Vesu, Adajan, Pal, Althan, Athwa, and Katargam. Vesu and Adajan are premium residential areas popular with families and working professionals. Katargam and Varachha offer more budget-friendly options. Each area has distinct price ranges, connectivity, and lifestyle benefits.

Typically, tenants need a government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, or Driving License), proof of employment or income, and one recent passport-size photograph. Owners may ask for additional documents depending on their requirements. Gharsetu facilitates introductions; the formal agreement is between tenant and owner.

We have a listing verification process where details provided by owners are reviewed before publishing. Listings marked with a 'Verified' badge have had their ownership documents or rental intent cross-checked by our team. We recommend always completing a physical site visit before finalising any agreement.

Furnished properties include essential furniture (bed, wardrobe, sofa, dining table) and often appliances (AC, fridge, washing machine). Semi-furnished typically includes basic fixtures like fans, lights, and sometimes a few furniture items. Unfurnished means bare shell — only walls, flooring, and basic electrical/plumbing. Each listing specifies its furnishing status clearly.

Security deposits in Surat typically range from 1 to 3 months of rent, depending on the locality, property type, and owner's preference. Premium areas like Vesu and Adajan may see deposits toward the higher end. The deposit amount is always clearly mentioned on the listing page.

Pricing shown on listings is typically the base rent as quoted by the owner. GST (applicable on commercial rentals), maintenance charges (society CAM), electricity deposits, and fit-out clauses are negotiated separately. Always clarify total cost-to-occupy before finalizing.

We list banquet halls, party plots, open lawns, rooftop terraces, conference rooms, and community halls across Surat. Categories include wedding venues, birthday party spaces, corporate event halls, and intimate gathering spaces.

Yes. We list wedding-capable venues with capacity ranging from 50 to 1000+ guests — including air-conditioned banquet halls, outdoor party plots, and garden venues across Surat. Each venue listing shows capacity, pricing per event, catering policy, and décor restrictions.

Some venues offer in-house catering and decoration packages. Others allow you to bring your own caterer and decorator. This is clearly indicated on each venue listing. We also list standalone event service providers (caterers, photographers, decorators) under our Local Services section.

For large events like weddings and receptions, we recommend booking 3 to 6 months in advance, especially during peak seasons (November to February and summer vacation months). For smaller gatherings or corporate events, 2 to 4 weeks is usually sufficient. Venue availability is shown in real time on the listing page.

Every venue listing on Gharsetu shows pricing, capacity, available dates, and included amenities. Use the 'Check Availability' or 'Enquire' button to confirm dates with the venue owner or manager directly. You can also WhatsApp them from the listing page.

All listings go through a review process before going live. Verified listings carry a badge confirming that ownership or rental intent documents have been checked by our team. We also monitor for suspicious activity and take down any listing reported as fraudulent. That said, always visit a property in person before paying any advance or deposit.

Use the 'Report Listing' option on any listing page, or email us at gharsetu@gmail.com with the listing URL and details. Our team will investigate and take action within 24 business hours. Never transfer money to an owner or agent without physically visiting and verifying the property.

Yes. We follow standard data protection practices — your personal contact details are not shared publicly. When you enquire about a listing, your contact is shared only with that specific listing owner to facilitate the connection. We do not sell user data to third parties.

No. Gharsetu is a completely independent and separate brand with no affiliation whatsoever to Nuvora Living. We are distinct in ownership, operations, branding, and service offerings.

We encourage and guide listing owners to upload accurate, recent photographs. However, we strongly recommend scheduling a physical site visit before committing to any rental. If a property is materially misrepresented, you can report it via the listing page and we will take appropriate action.

Click the 'Sign Up' button on the top right of any page. You can register with your mobile number or email address. Verification takes less than a minute. An account lets you save favourite listings, track enquiries, and schedule visits.

Yes, completely free. Browsing listings, scheduling visits, and contacting owners is free for all users. Property owners and businesses also list for free during our Surat launch period. We will introduce premium visibility features for listing owners in future, but core discovery will always be free.
